I haven't been taking photos for long and I'm a long shot (no pun intended) from being a 'real' photographer.
BUT this is a hobby I actually enjoy. It gets me out of the house and into the fields, pastures, streams and woods.
I've tried different sorts of photography. I wanted to be a little more artsy with my work, but when I try that, it's
not me. So for now I'll crawl around in Johnson Grass, snapping shots of Red Admirals and Monarchs.
I guess I'm going to call myself the Paparazzi of the Papillon.

In the "old days" people would collect butterflies and pin their little carcasses to a board. With the advent of
digital photography and websites such as this, the world of collecting has changed.
This website will be, among other things, my butterfly collection.
